If you're a new author and need ideas to make your first one thousand dollars then this blog post is for you. Today is day 21 of 24 here is the fastest way to make your first 1K as an author, let's dive right in.
The easiest way to make your first 1K as a new author is to create add-on products and services to go with your book. Here are 4 ways. . .
Create a bundle and sell it for $30 or more. A bundle can consist of a journal, workbook, planner, your book in both eBook and paperback, and/or a video training. Let's do the math,
34 Bundles x $30= $1020
If you make 34 sales at $30 you've made $1020. Your income can increase depending on the price of your bundle.
I had my first four-figure month as an author back in 2019 using this exact strategy, which I talk about in my new book.
2. Offer consulting services and sell a session for $150 or more.
Let's do the math, 7 Consultations x $150 = $1050.
If you make 7 sales at $150 you made $1050. Your income can increase depending on the price of your consultation.
3. Create a course and sell it for $500 or more.
Let's do the math, if you sell 2 courses x $500 = $1000.
If you make only 2 sells at $500 you make $1000. Your income can increase depending on the price of your course.
4. Offer a coaching package and sell it for $1,000 or more.
Let's do the math, 1 coaching package x $1000 = $1000.
If you make only 1 sale at $1000 you have made 1k. Your income can increase depending on the price of your coaching package.
Pro Tip: Remember that these prices reflect your gross in sales, not profit. Make sure to put away taxes and pay yourself net after expenses. I am not a tax advisor but I have learned from mistakes, don't go spending all your 1k. Make sure you are saving as well.
