Tis the Season to Write a Book blog series continues as we countdown our way to Christmas. Yesterday I gave you some editing tips but now I want to share one of my new favorite editing tools. Today is Day 11 of 24, and it's all about Microsoft Editor, let's dive right in.

When it comes to editing there is so much support available to first-time authors through technology.
Today I am going to review a new tool I recommend you add to help aid you when self-publishing your book.
I am really impressed with the new Microsoft Editor. When I first started out as a self-published author in 2015 this tool did not exist.
As of March 2020, Microsoft editor has been around however, I only discovered it in 2021 and I've been using it lately as a preferred choice over Grammarly.
Now I do have the pro-version because I have Microsoft 365, but I did hear that there is a basic free version if you have Microsoft.
What is Microsoft Editor?
Microsoft Editor is a closed source AI-powered writing assistant available for Word, Outlook, and as a Chromium browser extension part of Office 365. It includes the essentials in a writing assistant, such as a grammar and spell checker.
