3 Steps to Use Your Talent
Today I want to share a quote that motivated me to start TahiraGift.
When I realized that God gave me a gift of encouraging others with my words through writing I knew I had to start blogging. As my capacity and love of writing has grown I understand that I am truly just a vessel for God's good work and I am grateful that it brings me joy. Below I share 3 steps for women who are ready to step out with hope, courage, and faith to start living out and expressing their God- given talent.
Step #1 Acknowledge- the question is not if you have a talent but what to do with it? We all have been given a talent so the first step is to acknowledge it. If you are in the discovery faze look to the Creator for the answer. When you find what you are naturally talented at you find purpose and meaning for a fulfilled life.
Step #2 Just do it- often times we allow fear of what others may think stop us from actively living out our talents. You have to get to a place in your faith where nothing will stop you from living your truth. Give up a false sense of WHO you are because your identity lies in the fact that you are unconditionally loved by God and you are enough. Using your talent means giving up the need to be validated by others but to pursue talent with passion.
Step #3 Give Generously- when you know the talent God has given you then you know it was not meant to be suppressed. When you are clear in WHO you are in God then the next step is to give away your talent to as many people who will receive it. Others need what is inside of you and it's time to get to using your talent for the greater good.
So I challenge you today what is one step you can take to start using your talent? This week begin to practice at least 1 of the 3 listed above. Write down in a journal all you discover. Taking action and then journaling about your results is an awareness process that can create more well-being in your life.
